Denial doesn't mean self-esteem!!!!

  Hello everybody,

I’ve started this blog as a response to the bloggers from fat-o-sphere who are struggling so hard to change the general opinion about what fat means and how we should relate with this condition.

One of the bloggers, Kate Harding, founder of the blog Shapely Prose, said in an interview: “No fat acceptance advocate is saying you should sit around and wildly overeat. What we’re saying is that exercise and a balanced diet do not make everyone thin.” That’s absolutely true and I will never argue with a balanced and objective opinion. Unfortunately there are lots of others who, under the self-esteem and fat acceptance flag, are promoting lots of completely incorrect opinions regarding health and overweight.
For all of those I will just give the definition of obesity according to CDC (centres for disease control and prevention)
  Defining Overweight and Obesity
Overweight and obesity are both labels for ranges of weight that are greater than what is generally considered healthy for a given height. The terms also identify ranges of weight that have been shown to increase the likelihood of certain diseases and other health problems.
